Steve was thinking of selling or trading his truck since it had over 200,000 miles on it already. If he opted to purchase a new vehicle, the warranty would be significantly less and he would have a much higher payment and expense. He weighed the options and decided that a new powertrain made the most sense, financially. He took the weekend to think about his options and he decided to invest in a new powertrain.
