Getting your tires rotated may seem like a basic maintenance routine that you do, but do you know the importance of it?
Tire rotation is important because it evens out the tread on all four tires. That seems like a no-brainer, but having all tread levels even on all of your tires in turn makes your vehicle perform better and have higher gas mileage.
You should get a tire rotation every 3,000 to 6,000 miles.
Getting a routine tire rotation helps the tires have more grip on the road and helps when it comes to braking and cornering.
Summer Travel Maintenance
Planning on taking any road trips this summer? You should definitely schedule a tire rotation at a local auto repair shop in San Antonio. Here's one of our previous blogs on what car maintenance should be taken care of before taking a road trip.
Reminder
Routine tire rotation is so important! Even if you feel like your tires are fine, they could always be rotated.
No sure how worn out your current tires are?
